Planting Seeds For a Greener Future
On May 4th, Aevitas employees volunteered their time to help transform abandoned lots in East Canfield Village into thriving wildflower gardens. In support of the Canfield Consortium and Creating Habitats for Pollinators partnership, our team joined volunteers from Councilmember Latisha Johnson’s Office to clean and seed three plots with wildflower seeds to beautify the spaces and attract pollinators.
Earth Day Street Clean Up
As the snow melts, a surprising amount of roadside litter gets revealed. Employees at Aevitas Specialty Services took initiative to spend half the day on April 22nd to pick up the litter discarded on the adjacent streets around the facility. Enough litter was picked up to fill a 3 yard bin.
International Women's Day Donations
Aevitas employees established a donation drive to help support those in need at the local Capuchin Soup Kitchen. Diapers, hygiene products, women's clothing and some gently used dishes were donated.
